Everest

My picture represents determined because all of these people show people who never stop trying, just like the blind man in the Everest story. He didn't care that he was blind. He always told the guys that he wanted to be treated just like everyone else. He didn't want to slow them down with his disability. This really shows determination to get his life-long goal of climbing Mt. Everest.

Tarantulas

If I had to choose between studying wasps or tarantulas, I would pick tarantulas. Tarantulas are very interesting creatures. They way between one and three ounces. They are about the size of a tea cup. They can also be up to 4.75 inches long. Tarantulas have more legs than most bugs and this is very intriguing to me.

Inspiration

My family and friends are my biggest inspirations. They always tell me that I am capable of many things in my life. They don't bring me down and I am very happy to have such supportive people in my life.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is coming up soon. It is one of my favorite times of the year. I get to spend time with parts of my family that I haven't seen in over a year. Thanksgiving also means that winter and Christmas are just around the corner. I love all of the food that is served when my whole family and I sit down to eat. The turkey, mash potatoes, and gravy are my favorite parts of the meal. What do you like about Thanksgiving?

Where I Would Celebrate a Holiday

If I had a choice to celebrate any holiday in any country in the world, I would chose the Fourth of July in the U.S.A. It is a very special time for the United States because it was the day they became independent. It is so cool watching the fireworks and enjoying the company of other people. This awesome holiday is in the summer, so many people like to go up north and do water sports and make campfires with their friends. It is a really fun and enjoyable time.

Christmas

Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday of all. I really enjoy seeing all of my family members at Christmas. It is also cool sharing and giving gifts to others too. I always look forward to Christmas because that means there is snow outside. I really like to snowmobile, so Christmas break is a great time to take out my snowmobile and ride around on the trails with my friends and family.

My Fantasy Holiday

My fantasy holiday would be "No Homework Month." This holiday would be a whole month of school where none of the kids get homework. This would allow all kids to go out with there friends more and enjoy there lives instead of sitting at home wondering what they are going to do for there big science project and language essay. It actually wouldn't hurt to make this holiday "No Homework Year." That would be really nice.

Climate Change

Climate change has affected each and everyone of our daily lives. If everybody agreed to drive less and to stop putting so many pollutants in the air, we would all be able to control how rapidly the climate would change. In school we could use less paper and recycle more. At home we could burn less things that admit so much carbon dioxide. We really need to control this because there are polar bears dieing because of the rapid changes in the climate. Every country on earth is affected by climate change. The countries that release the most carbon dioxide are China and the United States. If everyone works together, we can stop the release of so much carbon dioxide and keep our earth the same temperature that it is suppose to be.

Chelsea

This is the stadium for the professional soccer team Chelsea. They are one of the better teams in the world right now. My favorite player on their team is Didier Drogba. He plays forward and he is really good. Their best defender is Ashley Cole. He is one of the best defenders in all of professional soccer.

Soccer

I love to play soccer! It is a lot of fun and very competitive. I play as a mid-fielder so i have to make sure i keep my stamina up so i can play both offense and defense. I play in the summer for a select team called the Howard Hurricanes which is in the East Central Soccer area. I play indoor soccer with Howard in the winter and spring too. I also play for my school during the fall which is a lot of fun. I play for both junior varsity and varsity for my school. I like to buy soccer equipment from http://www.worldsoccershop.com/. They have a lot of the greatest soccer equipment in the world.

Other Blogs

I learned a lot from other bloggers. Some of the things they talk about are very intersesting and helpful. They all had a lot of things to talk about too. And a lot of people do this blogging thing on their own too, not just for school.

Homecoming

Homecoming week has been pretty good so far. I can't wait for the football ball game on Friday. It should be a lot of fun. Seymour has a good chance to win the game too, so if they can that will make it even better. Some of my friends are going to the dance on saturday, but i'm not. I went last year and i thought it was a big waste of my time and money! I was really bored because dancing is not that fun to me.

Blogging

I am not a huge fan of blogging. It takes too much time and i never know what to talk about. The thing i do like about it though is we get to do this instead of homework. This is 100 times better than homework. I think this is way easier than homework too.

Winter and Snowmobiling

I can't wait for snowmobiling this winter. It should be a lot of fun. Hopefully we will have tons of snow, so we get a lot of snow days. Riding up north is something i always like to do. It would be nice if we had a better snowmobile to ride around on than a 73' John Deere that can't make it over 55mph!
